Her Story:

She found Integrative Medicine after leaving her path to become an Allopathic Doctor. She was completing her second year of allopathic medical school when she realized that with western medicine, she was not going to truly help women and children in the manner that she wanted to.

She grew up with a grandfather who was an Ayurvedic Doctor. She therefore knew that therapeutic medicine was more than what she was learning and therefore changed course. Ultimately, this helped shape her into the best type of doctor she could have imagined becoming. Into the type of doctor, she would want for herself and for her children.

While she transitioned from allopathic medical school into naturopathic medical school, she managed two pediatric offices in South Carolina, where her husband was stationed as a United States Marine. She saw an endless number of children coming in for ADHD and autism and walking out with Ritalin and Adderall prescriptions. She then saw the same children coming back without little to no improvement. She knew she had to do something different to truly help these children. A year later, she began naturopathic medical school and now uses nutrition, herbal botanicals, homeopathics, drainage remedies, advanced detoxes, and more to help children.

She was able to heal herself from PCOS and Hashimoto's disease, while navigating the challenges of medical school, which only further fueled her deep passion for supporting women with hormonal imbalances and infertility. She truly believes that once you identify the root causes of why your body is manifesting disease, you can bring it back to a homeostasis.
